How has the pandemic affected immigrants and immigration law? How have trends in immigration changed or been exacerbated by the restrictions imposed by lockdown?

This forum features Laurie Stavrand, volunteer coordinator at the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and Michelle Jennes, legal counsel at the Association for Africans Living in Vermont. Laurie will speak to the impact of Covid19 on Refugees and Asylum seekers, while Michelle will provide insight on the changes wrought by the pandemic on Immigration law.
Q and A will follow.

Co-sponsored by a committee from three area churches: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the United Church of Underhill, and the Mt. Mansfield Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
