More about the display:
The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st, honoring loved ones who have passed. This year The White River Craft Center created a traditional Mexican Day of the Day Altar in honor of those we've lost from COVID-19. The Altar is on the lawn of the White River Craft Center for all to view and contribute artwork or written thoughts if so moved. We also encourage community participation by creating an altar at home and sharing photos with us! This program is a collaboration between the WRCC and community partners Deycy Diaz and Susan Mills.
