MadDog TU monthly meetings are back.. via Zoom of course!

"What's up with Bristol Bay Alaska and the Pebble Mine process"?

There'll be time for MadDog chapter updates at 7:00 and time from 6:30 to 7:00 to share your exploits from the summer or inquire about late season fishing! Then about 7:15..

Join Trout Unlimited's Bristol Bay Organizer Meghan Barker and the MadDog Chapter of Trout Unlimited for a digital presentation on our efforts to protect Bristol Bay from the proposed Pebble mine. Meghan will be talking about fishing in southwest Alaska, the current status of the mine and what's at risk, and what TU has done and is doing to stop its development in 2020. For more information or to get a sneak peek of the campaign, check out www.savebristolbay.org.

Bio: Meghan Barker is the Bristol Bay Organizer for Trout Unlimited based in Anchorage, Alaska. Meghan works to spread the word about the threat of Pebble to anglers and fishing businesses in the Lower 48, and is rallying supporters to take action to stop the Pebble permitting process in 2020. Outside of work, Meghan can be found fishing, running or hiking in Southcentral Alaska.

MadDog Chapter of Trout Unlimited's mission is to conserve, protect and restore north-central Vermont and Northeast Kingdom coldwater fisheries and watersheds through education, advocacy, and boots-on-the-ground conservation. Find out more about MDTU at:
