As previously posted, Burelli/Pandora Farm, right here in Berlin will be hosting a pilot training for chicken processing in our poultry plant at the farm, 199 Burelli Farm Drive. We have not processed chickens for two years, so this will be a trial for ramping up our beautiful facility in preparation for the 2021 season. A limited number of spots are still available. Several people have already signed up. We will begin at 800 a.m., this Friday, October 30th and the entire event will last approximately 6 hours. Participants will leave with a fully dressed out USDA certified organic meat bird. If you want to join in, RSVP to peter@burellifarm.com. This is not an activity for the squeamish. There will be plenty of chicken blood and guts to deal with. Wear rubber boots and work clothes. I will provide face masks and hair nets. If you want to learn, this is your opportunity.
