As part of 350VT's effort to Rewild Vermont by planting 100,000 trees across the state, Mother Up! Montpelier and Central Vermont Climate Action will be planting trees at Barre Community Gardens between 12-4 PM on October 31. We will be planting some fruit and nut trees in a few locations to support wildlife, bring a sense of wild to an urban area, and provide nuts to promote food security. There will also be opportunities to do some text/phone banking to help get out the vote for climate justice!
Meet at the open green space on the northwestern portion of Elmwood Cemetery in Barre. We will be adhering to COVID safety protocols including masks and physical distancing. Questions and RSVP to Heather at motherupmontpelier@350vt.org

We also talk about the trials, joys and tribulations of parenting children who are becoming more and more aware that our planet is struggling.
