Reading many posts on Front Porch Forum and social media, it sounds like many will be trick or treating in small groups in their own neighborhoods. In the spirit of doing our best to keep everyone safe we will be doing things a little different this year. We request that you wear masks and practice social distancing. We will not have hotdogs this year as we don't want masks coming off. We will have members wearing masks and gloves that will be handing out candy, kids cannot grab their own candy this year. We will also hand kids a glow necklace, but their parents will have to help them put it on. Nobody will be allowed in the fire station to walk around, climb on the trucks or use the restrooms. We will have a walkway coned out, with markings every 6 feet, getting people through as quickly and safely as possible. Thanks for your anticipated patience and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at either our Maple Street or Main Street Station on Saturday between 4:00-6:30 PM.
