The Williston Selectboard has called a Special Town Meeting to be held on November 3, 2020 to consider the following article by Australian ballot:
Shall bonds of the Town of Williston in an amount not to exceed Two Million and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000,000.00) be issued under subchapter 2 of chapter 53 of Title 24, Vermont Statutes Annotated, payable only from net revenues derived from the Town's water utility system to pay for the replacement of watermains, pipes and appurtenances within the road rights-of-way of White Birch Lane, Lamplite Lane, Pine Lane and Aspen Lane, to connect the newly installed watermains and pipes to water service lines along White Birch Lane, Lamplite Lane, Pine Lane and Aspen Lane, and to pay related professional fees and project costs?
The Selectboard will hold a second public information hearing discussing this article on Monday, October 26th at 7 PM using the video conference platform zoom (access information below). This article will appear on the general election ballot mailed in September by the State of Vermont to all registered voters in the Town of Williston. Polls for in person voting will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM at the National Guard Armory located at 7846 Williston Road on November 3, 2020.
