The towns of Wheelock and Sheffield are developing a new Hazard Mitigation Plan with Burke and Sutton. It's been a lengthy process, working with NVDA and two great consultants, to identify natural hazards that have affected us in the past and may affect our towns in the future. The goal is to complete the plan before year's end to enable us to apply for grant funds to help reduce effects of the hazards we have identified.
