WHAT: The ANWSD Community Engagement Committee (CEC) will host a virtual event from 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Our District, Our Future. This will be the first in a series of community outreach the CEC will conduct to begin conversations and dive deeper into discussions, opportunities, and questions about the long-term stability and future of our school district.

Over the next 4- 5 years the district will be facing the loss of 100 more students and rising costs. The ANWSD Board is committed to developing a path forward that will help our district chart a course over these next 5+ years to long-term stability. We are asking community members to join us in these conversations as we work together to imagine possibilities and to craft real solutions.

Thursday's event will begin with a short presentation/introduction and then attendees will be broken into small virtual discussion groups. There will be a facilitator with guiding questions for each group. For those of you planning to attend the Our District, Our Future event on Thursday, October 22 you must pre-register in advance. We hope to see many of you on Thursday!
