See the new gallery show too! Painters choose Painters is an exhibit of contemporary painting from southwest Vermont and eastern New York. Initially, Phil Whitman, Ruth Hamilton and Gabi Moore were invited to exhibit and were asked to invite a respected colleague with whom they wished to exhibit with them. The outcome is a beautiful and varied collections of work that is uplifting and soulful.

Each artist offers a unique approach toward painting as medium through technique, style and motivation. Each reveals a personal view of the world. This collection of work offers paintings that are inspired by farm life and paintings that explore memory and personal history, painting as fantasy vision and stylized landscape and painting to reflect the fleeting moment...paintings inspired by a man plummeting downward from space to the earth and painting as poetic peacemaking.
