Chestnut Tree Planting demonstration with Nicko Rubin of East Hill Tree Farm
Saturday, October 24th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Fall is an excellent time to plant trees and shrubs and Nicko will demonstrate planting, fertilizing, and fencing of young trees for best results. Bring a shovel and gloves if you want to help us prepare to plant the trees. This planting is part of a long-term project by the Conservation Commission to plant edible trees and shrubs on the OSC grounds. Sponsored by the Marshfield Conservation Commission and the Jaquith Library. Attendance will be limited to 10 people, masks, and social distancing required, call or email the library to reserve a spot.
