In this season of precarity and heightened political polarization, I invite you to join together with Richmond Congregational Church, United Church of Christ and people all around Vermont for 20 days of non-partisan prayer for our nation. The prayer devotional started yesterday, October 15 and goes through election day. Each entry is written by lay and religious leaders across Vermont. As a culmination of our prayers I also invite you to join me for a Candlelight Vigil on the Eve of the Election, in front of the church on Monday, November 2 from 7:00-7:30 pm. Please bring a candle or a flashlight, wear a mask, and practice social distancing.
