Viewing your DNA test results for the first time can be a confusing experience. If you are awaiting results or have already received them, then this 90-minute presentation can help you move from bewilderment to understanding.
We will discuss the results from each major company including ethnicity maps, lists of DNA matches and specialized analysis tools. Using actual results, we'll demonstrate how to leverage this data to identify other testers who could have the records needed to solve your brickwalls. Whether you tested with Ancestry, MyHeritage, 23andMe or FamilyTreeDNA, this talk from the VT Genealogy Library will help you understand how to quickly get the most from your DNA test results.
A handout will be provided w/ key background information as well as the best online & print resources. This talk will be done as online presentations using Zoom and the fee is $10. A registration form is available at www.vtgenlib.org. For questions write to library@vtgenlib.org or call 802-871-5647.
