We want to make a joyous space, do you? We want to celebrate everything we love about the world, do you? We want to fill our community with so much positive creativity that there is no room for hatred, do you?
This Saturday, October 17, at 1pm, we are gathering in solidarity with people around the country for a progressive vision of our future. The national Women's March folks called for a day of marches and action, and we are so glad they did. We want to stand together — gather and celebrate, make noise and make fun. Let our spirits and creativity lift us all through this season of darkness and uncertainty, and GET OUT THE VOTE/GOTV!
So, show up at the Commons, this Saturday at 1PM. Wear a costume, bring an instrument, make a sign! Channel your Halloween energy and come as Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a radical cheerleader, or a patriarchy-smashing sorceress! Cast a spell; beat on a drum; ride your bike; juggle! All are welcome.
