Do you like to cook? Want to play around with some recipes?
Your Community Senior Center of Huntington, Bolton and Richmond has a new idea to try out. We will be offering a Recipe/Cooking Group, virtually via Google Meet, every two weeks on Tuesday mornings. Our first session will be hosted by Jack Lazarowski on Tuesday,10:AM, October 20th.
Here's the idea: Jack is sharing a very simple recipe for Shepherd's Pie. If you want to participate, you will prepare a Shepherd's Pie at home— Jack's recipe, your own recipe, another one you find, or Jack's with some tweaks. You can plan to have it some time before the meeting, or you can actually bring it (to your computer camera!) and show it to us on the day. We will all then have a chance to compare notes and successes.
We will have a new recipe for each meeting. The next recipe will be available October 25th, to be used and shared on November 3rd. We hope that group members will suggest the recipes to try. We encourage a variety— desserts, soups, entrees, etc.
