The Mad River Valley faces an affordable housing challenge at almost all income levels; however, the data indicates our greatest need is for those making less than 50% of the Area Median Income ( $39,350 for a family of 4). Developing homes for individuals at this income level is a difficult balance of funding, experience, time and community support.
