In conjunction with the Scout Popcorn Sales on the green, Sunday 10/11, noon - 2 pm, there will be a food drive for Monkton's Little Free Pantry. Thank you to those that donated last week, we are continuing to stock the shelves. Please bring nonperishables to the town green area where there will be boxes to deposit donations. In particular the following items are needed: canned tuna, canned chicken, pasta sauce, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, juices, cereal, rice, canned or dried soups, canned fruit, and canned vegetables. Some personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, and tissues are also needed. Monetary donations for restocking are also being accepted, please message me if you need more information on where to contribute.
