Plainfield (no contact) Community Suppers are starting up again this month. 60 bagged meals for two persons... hearty soup, bread, fruit and baked dessert... will be offered at Grace United Methodist Church in Plainfield between 6 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27th. Thanks to our volunteer crew from the Community Supper Support Group.
The cost of the soups from Joe's Kitchen (discounted for us by Joe Buley) was contributed by a Plainfield family donor this month, and the bread donated by Red Hen Bakery in Middlesex. Our volunteer bakers provide a sanitarily prepared brownie or gluten-free cake option. Each bagged meal serves two people. Please calculate your need accordingly and come into the church one at a time (masked please) between 6 and 7. All remaining meals will be at the Onion River Food Shelf in Marshfield on Wednesday for pickup there between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
