Stone Valley Arts Center presents Art of the Goddess collage workshop on Saturday, Oct. 17 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Explore the myth and insight of a new Goddess and channel her wisdom into our collage making. This workshop is created in collaboration by astrologer, shamanic healer, and mindful outdoor guide Cathy Walker and collage artist Heidi Smith Bagley.
Great for beginners and masters alike, collage is an intuitive and intentional, creative, and often surprising art form. Heidi will introduce us to the tools and materials, and to the flowing technique of creating an intuitive collage. Then using art, archaeology, astrology, myth, and storytelling Cathy will introduce us to the Goddess and her prolific territory. She will then lead us through a rich guided meditation where we will meet and experience the Goddess each in our individual ways. We will take that experience into our collage making to discover surprising, sometimes subtle, and always a meaningful message from within. We will end with a time of sharing and reflection for those who desire.
We hope you will join us for this enriching time together!
