Our guest will be Henekis Stoddard, Director of Social Change at Umbrella Inc. She will speak about domestic violence and how it intersects with substance misuse and substance use disorder. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, so this is a timely topic.
Henekis has worked as an advocate for survivors of domestic & sexual violence and prevention educator for over fifteen years. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at NVU-Lyndon in the Applied Psychology & Human Services department. She is passionate about creating social change that provides people safety, self-direction and equity.
