Dear Mad River Valley Residents ,
Several of the residents on the Loop Road in Waitsfield are planning a few nights of the Lighting of the Pumpkins ( like Ellie's Market in Northfield years ago ). This event will be in place of Trick or Treating ~ following the CDC recommendations . We hope to create an atmosphere of fun and community while giving our children some spirit of the holiday . To pull this off we need your help! We need donations of the following: pumpkins either carved or not, LED candles, and cider. All donations can be dropped off at the VG. Pumpkins must be delivered by noon on Saturday, the 24th. Carved Jack-o-lanterns can be dropped off on 10/24 and 10/25. Please consider also donating a LED candle with your pumpkin donation.
