The Rutland County Solid Waste District will be collecting Household Hazardous Waste for Danby/Mt. Tabor and Wells residents. Danby/Mt. Tabor will from 8am-10am at Danby Transfer Station and Wells from 11:00am-1pm at the Transfer Station on Saturday Oct 3, 2020. Come by with your aerosol cans, paint, batteries, bulbs, pesticides, automobile fluids, and other chemicals you can't use.

Due to the Covid-19 environment, we have instated new requirements for your participation in this program. These include: prepare a list of HHW to drop-off before arrival, remain in your car until the collection staff allow you to exit, and there are limits on dropping off reasonable quantities.
