Join us to learn how to start exploring your family history. Lynn Johnson will discuss types of records, where to find them, common errors, and helpful hints. Using examples from her own family work she will explain different types of sources, evaluating whether the pieces fit, and the importance of documenting your findings. Handouts will be available, including easy organizing suggestions. This class is designed for beginners, as well as for those who have started but are feeling overwhelmed, or unsure if they are going about it correctly.

Classes at the Vermont Genealogy Library this fall will be on-line presentations using Zoom. They take place on Saturday mornings from 10:30 to noon, including Q & A. The class fee is $10.00. To register go to our website www.vtgenlib.org and click on 2020 Fall Classes.
