Black Lives Matter Sign Making Party

When: Saturday, October 3, 2020, 9:00-1:00
Where: Lower Parking Lot of the Grey Building on Main Street
What: To help create BLM signs that can be displayed on people's personal property
Why: To show support for the Black members of our community, and Black
lives everywhere

"Black Lives Matter is an affirmation of Black folks' humanity, our contributions to this society, and our resilience in the face of deadly oppression."

Now more than ever, we as a community, need to show our support for the Black families in our community, the Black students who attend Norwich University, the Black lives in the state of Vermont and those all across our country. Please join us in a celebration of Black Lives by attending our sign making party!

If you have any of the following materials to donate, we would appreciate it!

We are gonna need:
* drop cloths
* chairs
* hand sanitizer
* wipes/rags/paper towels
* wood for stakes
* wood screws
* flats of plywood, MDF,.luan,
* sturdy cardboard
* black, yellow and white paint
