The Tunbridge Conservation Commission is pleased to support the White River Partnership clean-up efforts this coming weekend. Please read on for details.
Sunday, September 27 from 10am-2pm: Remote river cleanup
September is Vermont's River Cleanup Month and we invite you to help us cleanup the White River. Interested volunteers can participate in two ways:
Anytime before or on Sunday, September 27: Pick-up trash along the river using trash bags you provide; then bring your trash to the Royalton Academy Building on Sunday, September 27 between 10am and 2pm for sorting and disposal.
On Sunday, September 27 from 10am-2pm: Swing by the Royalton Academy Building to sign a waiver and pickup trash bags, then head out to the river to pick-up trash and bring your trash back before 2pm for sorting and disposal.
NOTE: We're asking all participants to wear personal protective gear (gloves and a mask), to practice social distancing at the river, and to sign a waiver (see more details below).
RSVP to christian[at]whiteriverpartnership.org to receive an electronic copy of the waiver that you can print/sign in advance and drop-off along with your trash!
