Reminder: Pope Memorial Library is celebrating Apple Pickin' Time with a special Storytime. Meet Vermont children's book author, Beth Charles, who will be speaking and reading from her debut picture book, How to Grow an Apple Pie. Beth's family has been growing apples and baking pies for decades at Mendon Orchards, and she has stories to tell. After the author speaks, walk the book on our StoryWalk. To add to the fun, there will be a Scavenger Hunt and all participants can enter a drawing for a fresh-baked apple pie. Cider and donuts for everyone. This event happens this coming Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 am and is an Outdoor Event. We'll be meeting in the field behind the Methodist Church (across from the Danville Green.) Bring a blanket and wear your mask. Please join us!
