Book Group Planning Meeting for the Westminster West Library
Monday, Sep 28, 7-9pm.

One of my most favorite things about the Library Book Group, is the way in which we choose our books for the year.

We all meet (this year via Zoom) and each of us bring a couple of books or info about a few books to share. After going around the circle and compiling a list of books WE VOTE! There is no Electoral College here and the books with the most votes actually win.

We are starting out the year meeting on Zoom, which is how we have been meeting for awhile now, and I feel that it is impregnated with the same duality as everything else during this pandemic. Communication is not always easy in this format but it also offers other opportunities otherwise not possible. We recently had a great meeting where an author joined us and shared with us a short film and I am hoping that we can utilize more of these potentialities.
