There will be, once again, a special artist Pop-Up event at the Grand Isle Art Works gallery. Michelle Turbide, who paints using acrylics, will be set up under her canopy, displaying and selling her colorful paintings featuring barns, crows and landscapes. Jim Holzschuh, and his wood lathe, will be set up creating wood turned objects and giving demos. The gallery will be open and you will receive a 10% discount on one item when you purchase something created by one of the more than 70 Vermont artists having work in the gallery.

There will be another Pop-Up event on October 3rd (from 10:00 to 4:00 at the gallery) featuring Jim Holzschuh again and Courtney Reckord with her topographical jewelry. Images on her jewelry depict mountains in the Green Mountain range as well as the shapes of Vermont lakes. You can wear a bit of Vermont landscape by purchasing one of her pairs of earrings or a pendant. Hilarie Mitchell, will set up a third popup canopy and will be bringing her wonderful macarons to tempt your taste buds.
