Dearest community members,
My good friend, Michelle Holmes, and I are hosting a fundraiser to support pediatric cancer research, children fighting cancer, and children transitioning to lives free of domestic violence. We work for a company called Usborne Books & More, and they will be matching 50% of our funds raised. Our goal is to raise $2000... $3000 with our company match!
What will we do with $3000, you ask?
1) A portion will be donated to the Scott Carter Foundations which funds pediatric cancer research.
2) We will be purchasing book and bear sets (https://t7472.myubam.com/p/1450/cuddle-bear-book-and-plush-toy) for children served by Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and Steps to End Domestic Violence. These two organizations are very close to our hearts personally, and we want to share love and comfort with children by purchasing 120 bear and book sets!
We are looking for business and personal donations of just $25... $25 will purchase one book and bear set AND make a donation to the Scott Carter Foundation.
