Tuesday, September 22 OPS Office Hours will be a multi-topic session. Starting at

7 PM ET, Doors open for networking.

7:30 PM ET U Mass Amherst Prof. Gerald Friedman is a guest speaker on "What we must do today to achieve universal health care tomorrow." If there is time and desire after Q+A, we will go to breakout rooms to make plans for taking action based on his talk.

8:30 LSU medical student Ashwin Shetty will give a Single Payer 101 talk, "US Health Insurance and Single-Payer: The Basics." He will walk listeners through the basics of how to choose a private health insurance plan offered by an employer, and show how much simpler and more reliable, affordable, and predictable health care would be with single payer health coverage. His talk will be short, with plenty of time for questions.

People who already understand the basics of Single Payer are welcome to go into breakout rooms on specific topics by indicating next to their name tag the name of the room they wish to join.

"One Payer States is an educational and advocacy organization that fights to win high-quality, cost-effective health care for all. Working together, we build powerful state, regional, and national solutions." https://onepayerstates.org/
