Register Now: How to Talk to Young Children About Race

Past event
Sep 27, 2020, 2 to 5 PM

We still have space (but are limited to 25 participants) for our FREE in-person, outdoor workshop for adults:
How to Talk to Young Children about Race, Racism and Anti-Racism with Emma Redden and Grace Aldrich of The Full Story School (hosted by The Children's Room in partnership with Waterbury Area Antiracism Coalition)
This Sunday (Sept 27, 2-5pm) at Camp Meade (outside with a tent).

Participants must pre-register at 802-241-1374 or childrensroom@huusd.org.

Come join us for what should be a beautiful fall afternoon. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, grab a coffee and treat at Red Hen Bakery, and get ready to have some grownup discussions about how to talk with our young ones about these challenging topics. You'll be in good company!

Masks and pre-screening questions required upon entrance.
