The Heavenly Food Pantry, located at the First Congregational Church in Essex Junction, will be distributing food to families on Thursday, September 24, from 2:00-6:00. This is available to all families living in Essex, Essex Junction and Westford. Those wishing to participate may enter the church parking through the Church St. entrance, where they will be asked to provide proof of residence and identification for every member of the household, including children. Food will be delivered to vehicle's trunks. There is no income limit to qualify; all are welcome! The pantry will be giving out lots of nutritious foods as well as personal hygiene products. There will be meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, pasta, cereal, bread, and canned goods. If you don't have a car, no problem! Carts will be available to borrow to transport your items home, or call the church at 878-5745 and leave a message with Pastor Josh, who will help make arrangements to get food to you. There is no reason to go hungry—the pantry is here for you!
