Want to get outside with your kids on a beautiful fall afternoon? Want to nurture an ethic of volunteering and helping those in need? Join in with a few families from the Unitarian Church of Montpelier this Wednesday (9/23). We'll be part of a gleaning project organized by Community Harvest of Central Vermont. We'd love to welcome a few more families to round out our crew! All ages welcome. We're meeting up 2:30-4:30 at a farm in Worcester and harvesting Brussell sprouts. These will then go to local people in need. I will be sending an RSVP of our numbers by 5pm today (Monday) so apologies for the short notice! If you get this after that deadline, feel free to let me know and I can find out if there's still space. UCM COVID guidelines: 6' apart, outside, masks required unless 10' apart (parent discretion for PreK and younger).
