Please join us for a non-disruptive rally in honor of the 2020 Global Climate Action Day on the lawn of the Unitarian Universalist Church at 117 West Street, Rutland.
Our non-disruptive rally will encourage voters to "Vote For The Earth" by supporting political candidates with strong environmental platforms. We will be joined by Rights and Democracy, who will assist in new voter registration. We will also be running a slide show loop, "Our World Depends on Us." And, in keeping with the link between climate and racial justice, we will have a representative from the campaign to Change the Rutland Mascot.
This is a non-violent, non- confrontational event, and will adhere to current COVID-19 distancing guidelines. Please join us with your mask on to stand up for the planet.
