The Champlain Islands Methodist Churches will be worshipping outdoors this Sunday at Shore Acres in North Hero. We gather in a beautiful setting, down by the lake; there is ample parking nearby on the field: just follow the signs! The Gospel reading this Sunday is the Parable of the Workers at the Vineyard, from which comes the saying, "the last will be first." The sermon focuses on the encouragement God's generosity offers to those who struggle against hopelessness. If you can, please bring chairs to sit on; we ask that everyone observe mask and social distancing protocols. There's no singing, so we carefully choose recorded music to complement the liturgy. Our service starts at 10:30, and everyone is welcome.
