Poet Phyllis Larrabee, a long-time resident of Greensboro, moved to Montpelier in early March and began her new life at Heaton Woods just before the pandemic disrupted everyone's lives. Being a poet, she was compelled to write poems about her new life under COVID. She would like to share them with her Greensboro friends, so we have planned a ZOOM poetry reading for Tuesday, September 29th at 2:00 p.m. Please join us for "Pandamit! Poems about Life Under the Pandemic." E-mail the library for the Zoom link. I will also post the link the Monday before the program. In the meantime, stop in the library to enjoy Phyllis's poems along the delightful drawings of Gina Jenkins in an exhibit of the works included in their new joint book, Pollage. The animals and words will make you smile:)!
