On Thursday, April 24, at 7 pm, geologist George Springston, longtime resident of Plainfield and currently Research Associate in Geology at Norwich University, will present a slide illustrated talk on the Surficial Geology of Woodbury. He'll focus on the Woodbury area, with an emphasis on how the landscape has evolved since the retreat of the glaciers. Sponsored by the Woodbury Conservation Commission.
