Vermont CARES is hosting a virtual fundraising event that is socially distant, safe and a fun way to spend time with friends! It can be done from anywhere and all challenges can be done right from your home!
The scavenger hunt is Saturday the19th, 12pm to 3pm.
All proceeds go to support the work of Vermont CARES HIV Prevention and Harm Reduction services for Vermonters.
Here's a sneak peek at a few of the clues (there are close to 50 challenges to choose from)
Clues:
1. Build and take a photo of your team inside a blanket fort
2. Take a photo of your teams own awkward family photo.
3. Take a photo wearing a crazy hat.
4. Video your team in a dance off
.......and many more photo and video challenges that have you finding items and doing silly things that will surely get you laughing and having a good time!
Here is how it works:
~Register at our facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/events/2646499778783311/ or at our website https://vtcares.org/
~ It's $25 per person (student discount is $15)
~More fun to do it as a team of 2-4 people (or more, it's up to you)
~After you register you will receive the info to download the Eventzee App- free in the app store
~We will send you the game code late Friday night, which will open up the clues for Saturday at 12pm
~The goal is to rack up the most points by 3pm
~Each challenge has an assigned point value
~You do not need to complete all the challenges or find all the items to win/play
~50 Bonus points will be awarded at the end for the team who shares the funniest photo and video
~Winners will be announce at 3pm on FB Live on our page
The winner gets Bragging Rights and a $50 Amazon Gift Card
Once you register you will get an email with the instructions to download the free event app and the code to get into the game.
You can do them in any order, do only as many as you want. You will be able to see other teams photos and videos and of course, there will be a leader board to track everyone's progress!
