A few Requests for Assistance from the Community:
- Yogurt Containers: If you have extra, please drop them by the Stand any Friday between 4 and 6pm.
- Food Preservation Assistance: We are preparing to have Soup made from Local ingredients available most every week through the winter, and so there is A LOT of preservation to do over the next 8 weeks. We will make up Kits(vegetables/greens, instructions and containers) and ask for volunteers to help us by processing at home. Stop by the Stand starting Friday 9/25 to pick up a Kit or be in touch by email: brushbrookcommunityfarm@gmail.com
- Budget Request: Would you consider making a financial gift to support our work? We are 100% funded by personal financial gifts by members of the community. Our detailed budget and information on how to contribute are here: https://www.brushbrookcommunityfarm.org/2020/09/16/newsletter-9-16-20/
- Work Days: Every Sunday afternoon many volunteers help sustain the work - making soup, tending the gardens and fields, caring for the animals. Information can be found here: bit.ly/brushbrookworkdays
