All families of Lowell Graded School are invited to attend an ice cream party with Vermont Author, Leda Schubert on Thursday, April 17th starting at 5:00. Ice Cream will be served from 5:00-5:30, then our full attention will be given to Leda. After Leda's program/story telling, we'll serve more ice cream! The Scholastic Book Fair will also be open that evening.

Leda Shubert is author of many great picture books, including "Here Comes Darrell", "Feeding the Sheep", and one of this year's Red Clover Nominees: "Monsieur Marceau"!

This program is sponsored by CLiF Year of the Book at Lowell Graded School to celebrate the commitment of families agreeing to read together at least 2 times each week. We only needed 80% of our students and families to sign their "Read With Me" contracts...and 98 of 117 students returned signed forms!
