The Grift Live at Bliss Ridge Farm!

Past event
Sep 26, 2020, 3 PM

Spring Hill School's annual Bid and Boogie is a much-anticipated fall event in the Mad River Valley. While 2020 has been exceptionally challenging so far, we are grateful to be able to look forward to some familiar traditions. This year's fundraiser has been modified to become the "Boogie...and Bid". Please join us on September 26th for an outdoor concert featuring the Grift at stunning Bliss Ridge Farm in Moretown and stay tuned for an online version of our popular auction coming later this year.
This event will begin at 3pm and music will start at 4pm to take advantage of the fall sunshine and encourage maximum enjoyment of the incredible view. With so much heartache around the country and the world right now, we are truly looking forward to an opportunity to celebrate our wonderful community, beautiful home valley, and a great cause.
As always, this event is adult only. Can't make it or don't feel comfortable attending events? Consider listening to the show from the comfort of your living room-details about how to stream this event after the show will be available soon. Donations are welcome in addition to, or in lieu of, ticket purchases. Please note that tickets are only available to purchase online and there will not be tickets available at the door. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 17th here: https://secure.givelively.org/event/spring-hill-school-incorporated/spring-hill-school-s-bid[...]020

As with any event these days, tickets are limited to the number of guests allowed at the venue by the state of Vermont. All current public safety mandates will be observed, including hosting the performance and event entirely outdoors, with facial coverings required. Audience members will be directed to appropriately distanced seating areas and may bring lawn chairs and blankets. A cash bar will be available onsite as well delicious food available for purchase (or bring your own picnic).
Please note, BYOB is not permitted due to the venue's licensing regulations. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible.
This fundraiser generates critical income for Spring Hill, comprising nearly 10% of the school's annual budget. Therefore, we count on its success year after year. This year, the school faces a mountain of additional costs as a result of Covid-19 and the associated cleaning, staffing, and safety protocols. We need your help more than ever! Thank you so much. For questions or to information on sponsoring the event please email bidboogie@springhillschoolvt.org
