The Bethany UCC Visioning Committee would like to invite you to an afternoon of music and sharing of spoken word on Sunday, September 27th from 4-5 pm featuring the After Supper String Band (Brent Beidler, Andy Mueller, Roger Ennis) and others.

When Brent, Roger, and Andy first began to play music together a few years ago there was no difficulty in finding musical common ground. Through a shared love for lively fiddle tunes, bluegrass gospel and Brent's hilarious renditions of popular folk songs the band was formed and has enjoyed playing together as the After Supper String Band named after their preferred time to play together. As far as these three old friends are concerned, if it makes their toes tap and puts a smile on their faces, that's enough.

This community event will be held outdoors in the parking lot venue between Bethany House and the UCC office at 30 North Main Street and will feature the band's musical offerings as well as the sharing of poetry and other treasured writings by some community members (Ashley Barrow, Erin Beidler, Jeanne Ward, and Margaret Campbell).

As per state regulations, this will be a socially distanced, mask-required event with limited capacity. Please plan on bringing a lawn chair or other seating for yourself.
