Celebrate Earth Day by touring CSWD's Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and Green Mountain Compost (GMC)?
At the MRF, you'll see first-hand how your blue bin recyclables are processed and sent to market. It's part Willy Wonka, part Rube Goldberg, and totally awe-inspiring.

At GMC, you'll get a gander at how your food scraps become rich, beautiful compost. It really illustrates your part in completing the food loop by keeping food scraps out of the landfill and in use building soil and growing your next plate of food!

DATES: Monday, April 21 or Tuesday, April 22
MRF RECYCLING TOUR TIME: 11:00-12:00 at the MRF
GMC COMPOSTING TOUR TIME: 1:00 -2:00 at GMC
