Location: West Burke Village Park on Route 5A
Saturday, September 19th from 4-7pm
Join us in the park for dinner, free smoothies and get updates on projects from One Burke and Kingdom Trails. Libbey's Meat Market will be on site with the smoker for the pig roast! Dinner includes 8 ounces of pulled pork on a bun with coleslaw, cornbread and some Death by Chocolate for dessert (cost $12 per person).
The Burke Area Chamber of Commerce will be giving out free smoothies with help from students and staff of the East Burke School.
The West Burke Library/Universalist Society will have a bake sale with part of the proceeds going to a local food shelf.
Folks from One Burke will be there to share updates from the Trails & Transportation and Village Revitalization task forces. Info stations will be set up to get community input and ideas for the West Burke Revitalization project.
Kingdom Trails will also be at the event with updates on the Network Capacity Feasibility Study,
Food will be served in to go containers. Limited seating will be available in the park. Please be sure to wear a mask and practice social distancing in the park.
