THE BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS: All are invited to the "Blessing of the Backpacks" this Wednesday and Thursday at First Congregational Church/UCC at 38 South Winooski Avenue in Burlington.

Church members are decorating an "Arch of Blessings" - that will be over the driveway in the church parking lot - with lots of streaming ribbons covered with written blessings and prayers for children, youth and educators as they start the school year. Imagine a beautiful arch creating a faithful "wash" of prayers and blessings to drive through!

ALL children and youth - and ALL educators - are invited to come to First Congregational Church of Burlington to drive through the "Arch of Blessings" this Wednesday (9/16 - 3pm to 6pm) and Thursday (9/17 - 4pm to 6pm).
- Each child/youth and educator will receive a special item to carry their blessing with them - in or on - their backpack!
