The Rutland County Solid Waste District will be collecting Household Hazardous Waste for Ira & West Rutland residents only. Ira will be at the Town Hall off RTE 133 from 8am-10am and West Rutland at the Town Garage located at 265 Ross Street from 10:30am-1pm on Saturday, Sept 19, 2020. Come by with your aerosol cans, paint, batteries, bulbs, pesticides, automobile fluids, and other chemicals you can't use.

Due to the Covid-19 environment, we have instated new requirements for your participation in this program. These include: prepare a list of HHW to drop-off before arrival, remain in your car until the collection staff allow you to exit, and there are limits on dropping off reasonable quantities.
