You're invited to a free public concert performed by Richmond Community Band in the band shell at Volunteers Green at 6:30pm Monday 9/14/20!
We are sorry we couldn't play in the 4th of July parade that wasn't, but we will keep the spirit, performing a few songs aligned with the parade float theme, "Music, Song & TV of the 80's," as well as traditional American marches. And, of course, more: we will also play music popular in the 40's, 50's style music from a movie in the 70's, and theater music from the 70's and 80's.
As you expect, we request you follow state and town guidelines, maintaining greater than 6 feet of separation from other attendees outside your household, and wearing masks if feasible. To comply with requirements, we will also indicate one way in and one way out of the lawn from the parking lot, to help minimize close contact. A sign-in sheet will be at the entrance, (only) for unlikely but potential contact tracing if necessary (the list will be discarded after 2 weeks). We regret the inconvenience, but want to keep people safe.
We hope you join us at this infrequent event this year, live music! If everyone follows safety guidelines, we hope similar events may ensue.
