The Craftsbury Chamber Players is scheduled to perform an outdoor socially distanced concert of classical music for violin, cello and piano on the Birch Lawn of the Lincoln Library on Sunday September 13th at 4pm. Entitled "A Viennese Salon", the program includes works by Brahms, Beethoven, Faure, Shubert, and Tchaikovsky. Musicians are Mary Jane Austin, Frances Rowell and Mary Rowell.
As the date approaches they are watching the forecast in case the concert needs to be postponed to the rain date of SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 4:00. For updates check Facebook pages for Craftsbury Chamber Players and Lincoln Reader!
The concert is free, but at-will donations to CCP are encouraged.
Committed to their art and their audiences even in this unusual summer, the CCP has outfitted a trailer as a mobile stage and toured the state giving concerts on a farm, a commons, a town hall lawn, and the Bread and Puppet amphitheater. This Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln Library, their only appearance in Addison Count, promises to be magical.
