We are very excited to announce the painting of George Washington Henderson is complete and framed and will be gifted to Craftsbury Academy this weekend. Join us on Saturday Sept 12 at 10:00 am on Craftsbury Common to see the portrait in person and to meet artist Crystal Stokes.

The portrait will be hung in Craftsbury Academy and a more formal recognition and celebration will be held at a future date (when schools are not quite so stressed!)

We would love to see you at this important event! Thank you to the community members that donated to commemorate our historic African American principal.
