Mentor Recruiting Night - Thurs Sept 24th 6-7:30 PM

The Makery needs Mentor volunteers - let's talk and see if we are a match!
Makery Mentors monitor equipment operation, safety practices and are primarily in place to answer questions and support members as they work in our Labs. You don't need to be an expert to be a Mentor, just versed in the skill requirements of a Lab and a good communicator of your knowledge.
Mentors have membership privileges and it's a wonderful way to share your knowledge with others in our community.
The Makery is seeking people willing to volunteer on Thursdays from 5-9 PM at least 10 nights per year in any of the following areas:
Woodworking (Delta 8" jointer, 24" Powermatic planer, 10" Table saw, Band saw)
Computer/3D Printing (12+ Computer Workstations, 3 FDM 3D Printers, Software: SketchUp, SolidWorks and AutoCAD)
CNC Router & Laser Cutter Labs are coming soon!
Maybe you want to join our team of wonderful Sewing Lab mentors or have other skills to offer that we haven't listed. Come meet our staff, learn what it takes to be a Mentor and get a tour of The Makery.
Due to COVID-19, pre-registration is required. Instructions for arriving and interacting safely at The Makery are included in your confirmation email.
Limit of 15 participants to socially distance in a large room with our staff. Register here: https://www.makeryatpahcc.org/event-3961077?CalendarViewType=1&SelectedDate=9/6/2020
Take care,
